I love American bedding, their underlays and pillows are so soft and enveloping.  So we had a good sleep, although mine wasn’t long enough, I stayed up too late doing the blog!  Anyway we are up early and down for brekkie by 7.45am and the rental car was delivered at 8.15am.  Kim is pleasantly surprised that for a change they phoned us to organise the pick-up rather than him having to do all the phoning and they were here earlier than expected.  So we have a 2018 iridescent blue Nissan Maxima.  First stop is an ATM then off to DeMontrond to see how the motorhome looks. She is looking real fine!!  A wee hiccup with the outside grab handle which got broken sometime after we left it and seeing the coach again at Demontrond (we had it replaced today).  And the gas detector alarm was beeping so we have a new one of those coming overnight and they will fit it as soon as it arrives tomorrow so we can get on our way.  Other than that it was all good.

After a quick trip to UHaul to drop back the gate clicker and thank the GM for all his efforts trying to sort out the “incident” and then for lack of other inspiration we headed off to the old fave Willowbrook Mall for a wee shop. Success – even Kim got some shoes!  Lunch was a Philly Cheese for Kim and a Cinnabon (mini) for me, so yum!  We weren’t going to have lunch after our substantial breakfast but there you go!

Hit the wall about 2.30pm so headed back to the hotel for some quiet time, Kim spent his snoozing I sat outside in the sun reading but needed to chill out inside by the AC every 10 minutes or so.  It was at least 30C again today and the sun was out.

About 6.30pm we thought we would head out for dinner and found Mambos Seafood not far down the road.  The food must be good, it was humming! I give it an ambitious 6 out of 10 (that's me with my 'MKR' hat on).

We need to be up and at it early again tomorrow to get the rental car dropped off by 8.30am, they will drop us back at Demontrond, with all our luggage etc. and we will camp on their doorstep until the gas detector is fitted and we are good to go!  So for now it's off to bed for me, sweet dreams zzzz's
