Sunday 20 May - Wasatch View Estate, Ogden UT

Birds started their dawn chorus at 5am the sky paled and the first rosy blush of dawn tinged the sky.  Honest, that’s what I saw out my bedroom window, the coach was positioned perfectly to watch the new day unfold.

Sun shining on the snow, view from our coach
K spent the day pottering outside and me mostly inside.  Our motorhome is once again sparkly clean and shiny.  This is only the second time we have had both big slides out in the living area, we don’t always bother if it’s only overnight.  Every time we open both slides we are amazed how big it all seems inside.

Went for a walk down the main road until the pavement run out, then back the other way towards the I15.  We are quite close to the interstate but can't hear it from where we are.

The weather was very pleasant all day until about 3.30pm when the wind came up, the sky darkened and thunderstorms threatened.  Didn’t come to anything and the clouds soon moved off.

We bought a $10 baby crockpot at Walmart the other day so I’m trying a pot roast today seeing as we are here for another whole day. It was a success - I am allowed to make it again!

We have another week before we are due to arrive at Armitage Park near Eugene OR so made some plans for stays between now and then.
